This is a fantastic program that we are not taking full advantage of . The band gets 5% of
King Soopers shoppers' normal grocery purchases, -- paid by the corporation – you just
need to use the card!!. Here's how: 1. The band sells you a King Soopers cash card for
$20. (They have $20 on each card already, and are available from Jacky Kowalsky ). 2. You
take it to any King Soopers Customer Service Desk and put up to $500 at a time on the
card. It should be ready for use within 20 minutes, and will stay good for 90 days with NO
use. 3. Remember to do all of your shopping with the card. 4. Refill it throughout the year at
the service desk. Band families typically spend $400 a month on groceries. If only 25
families use this card throughout the year, the band will get $6,000! (400 x 12 x 25 x 5%)
If you are EVER a King Soopers shopper and want to support MRHS Band, please

How it works: You purchase a reloadable card with a $20 value from Jacky Kowalsky
(jkowalsky5@msn.com). When you shop at King Soopers, or any Kroger affiliate, you can
load the card for your shopping needs up to a maximum of $500 per reload, but you can
reload as often as you need to. When reloading your card at King Soopers, you can pay by
check, cash or credit/debit card. After we have a total of $5,000 in reloads, we get a check
for $250. That is 5% of the card reloads for the MRHS Band. The cards can be used for
groceries and gasoline at all King Soopers, City Market and various other Kroger affiliated
locations around the US, including Kroger, Fred Meyer, Ralphs, Fry’s and Fry’s
Marketplace, Dillons, Smith’s Food & Drug, City Market, QFC, Food 4 Less, Owens,
Foodsco., Hilander, Pay-Less, Cala-Bell, Baker’s, JayC, Fred Meyer Jewelers, Loaf & Jug
Markets, and Littman & Barclay Jewelers. Every four (4) weeks, King Soopers issues a
statement showing the amount of reloads by our organization. Payment in cash or check is
due when you get your initial card. You are welcome to purchase more than one card if you’
d like to get your friends and family to help. Any card with a zero balance for 90 days will
become inactive and you’ll have to purchase another card through the MRHS band in order
to get the reloads credited back to the band account.
